• Sept. 29 – A Milwaukee man reported his lost a loaded and holstered black handgun and he provided a description of the area of where he thought he lost it.
• Sept. 29 – Waupaca Police Department forwarded a message of a resident advising that vehicles were speeding on County Trunk QQ.
• Sept. 29 – A Fremont woman on Fremont Street reported a man was yelling at her today. She admitted she pushed him and broke his phone.
• Sept. 29 – An Iola man on County Trunk G reported his home was vandalized by juveniles with estimated damages of around $4,000.
• Sept. 29 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk QQ reported two individuals stole his floor jack.
• Sept. 29 – A woman caller reported finding an elderly man lying on the ground next to a garbage can. She helped him inside. The man seemed confused and said he didn’t need any help.
• Sept. 29 – A woman on Appletree Lane reported seeing a fire near the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall.
• Sept. 29 – An Iola man on Kenwood Drive reported a suspicious group of 10-15 “younger people” on foot. When he went to speak to them, they all took off. It was Iola’s homecoming week.
• Sept. 29 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a possible case of elder abuse. A resident complained of “rough treatment.”
• Sept. 30 – An Iola woman on State Street reported her sister was harassing her over a childcare dispute.
• Sept. 30 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported they suspected an employee brought marihuana to work and was keeping it in a kitchen cooler.
• Sept. 30 – A Weyauwega woman on Mary Street reported a lot of screaming, yelling and banging at a residence.
• Sept. 30 – A man reported he was being harassed and some private information was shared about him via Tea, a dating app where woman post unsubstantiated information about men without their consent.
• Sept. 30 – The WI DNR reported a person in a small read sedan shot a deer from the road and took off going 80 mph on Foley Road towards U.S. Highway 10.
• Sept. 30 –An Ogdensburg woman on Seward Street reported hearing children screaming for help. She provided an address.
• Sept. 30 – An Ogdensburg woman on County Trunk K reported a fraud costing $2,000 and involving a Venmo account.
• Sept. 30 – Sanbur Corners reported a gas drive-off worth $35. The clerk said the black BMW had no front plate as it looked like it was covered with tape. The drive-off appeared intentional.
• Sept. 30 – A 911 caller reported the death of a man that was lying on the floor unresponsive.
• Sept. 30 – An Iola woman on Keatings Kale Drive reported a man tried to kill himself.
• Sept. 30 – A Marion caller on County Trunk OO reported a suspicious vehicle parked with its lights on for 20 minutes.
• Sept. 30 – A Manawa man on Ester Drive reported someone egged his car the day before.
• Sept. 30 – An Ogdensburg man on Washington Street reported an elderly woman fell and broke an ankle. The dispatcher heard a woman yelling profanities in the background.
• Oct. 1 – Highway Truck Parts in New London reported fraudulent charges on a business account.
• Oct. 1 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk X reported the death of an 85-year-old man.
• Oct. 1 – An unknown caller reported $900 worth of fraudulent charges on a debit account.
• Oct. 1 – A Waupaca man on King Road reported a man wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying a scoped rifle on his shoulder was blowing grass clippings with a leaf blower.
• Oct. 1 – An Ogdensburg woman on Seward Street reported a man sent her a photo of a handgun and said he found some ammo. The man was drinking and she requested he be checked on.
• Oct. 2 – A Clintonville woman on Knaack Road reported parts were stolen off some vehicles.
• Oct. 2 – Waupaca County Solid Waste Dept. reported a tip that someone was burning plastic and rubber in a burn pit.
• Oct. 2 – A Clintonville woman on Nature Road reported finding a black trash bag with maggots coming out of it.
• Oct. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Lamplighter Lane reported three of her solar lights were damaged.
• Oct. 2 – A Manawa man on Ester Road reported he was having trouble connecting his phone to his computer. He called a helpline and he was swindled out of $4,000.
• Oct. 2 – A Waupaca man on Akron Avenue reported a woman told him she wants to die and she was planning on crashing her car.
• Oct. 2 – A Waupaca woman on Lind Center Road reported her daughter was getting methamphetamine from her boyfriend and was making suicidal comments and was hearing things.
• Oct. 2 – A female Lyft driver reported picking up an elderly couple with $10,000 in cash and wanting to go to Portage. The driver told them it was a scam.
• Oct. 2 – An Embarrass man on Main Street reported a juvenile male was walking down the street and opening mailboxes.
• Oct. 2 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile kicked in a door, threw things and threatened staff.
• Oct. 2 – ACR Repo reported they were repossessing a black 2008 Ford F150 and a 2019 Kia Sorrento.
• Oct. 3 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk Q reported a truck was in a parking lot doing donuts and spraying other vehicles with gravel.
• Oct. 3 – Pick N’ Save in Waupaca requested an ambulance for an elderly woman that passed out.
• Oct. 3 – A Fremont woman on Wolf River Drive reported being scammed out of $1,500 via Apple cards and a bank account compromise.
• Oct. 3 – Portage County Sheriff’s Office advised that two black females stole $1,000 of merchandise from Ulta Beauty in Plover. They left in a Milwaukee-registered Acura.
• Oct. 3 – A Manawa woman on County Trunk O reported her neighbors was harassing her about a land survey and threatening to remove the survey posts.
• Oct. 3 – A Waupaca man on 10th street reported a 6’3” man wearing a dark hoodie came to their door and tried to get into their house.
• Oct. 3 – A sheriff deputy pursued a truck that passed by at 105 mph.
• Oct. 4 – A Waupaca woman on Riverside Drive reported someone was trying to get into their front door. She saw the doorknob wiggle.
• Oct. 4 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk QQ reported her credit card was stolen.
• Oct. 4 – An anonymous caller reported a Ford Lightning struck a vehicle at the Wheelhouse and took off.
• Oct. 4 – A Waupaca woman on Tower Road reported two men were fighting each other.
• Oct. 5 – The Landing Strip requested an ambulance for a man in his 50s that recently had a heart replacement and was passed out.
• Oct. 5 – A male caller reported he has photos of a man trespassing on his hunting land.
• Oct. 5 – A Waupaca woman on Jensen Road reported her significant other was threatening to kick her out of the house they share.
• There were 17 deer-related calls during this period. Six controlled burns were called in. A Waupaca man was waterfowl hunting on a lake and his dog would not retrieve his bird so he went into the water to get it himself. His phone got wet and it called 911. A woman turned in a lost dog to the Weyauwega Police Department. A Farmington woman on King Road reported an ongoing problem with ducks and chickens in the roadway. A Weyauwega woman reported a loose horse in the road. Dogs were reported running loose on Olson Road.
