Dale Leroy Peters, age 83, died September 23, 2026 at Bethany Nursing Home, Waupaca. Dale was born March 12, 1943 in Waupaca, son of Milfred and Varol (Peterson) Peters.
Dale attended Little Wolf High School, Manawa.
Dale married Arlene Agnes Bestul on April 24, 1965 in Iola. She preceded him in death on August 28, 1987. Dale married Carol Jean (Matheson) Jenner on April 21, 1990 in Weyauwega.
Dale was a dairy farmer in Ogdensburg for several years, then becoming a truck driver until his retirement in 2010.
Dale is survived by his wife Carol; children Kim (Charles) Bolte, Keith (Dawn) Peters, Kristy Peters, Kathy (Ashley) Grimm; grandchildren Ashlyn (Trevor Kizewski) Peters, Casey (Summer) Peters, Ryan (Sara Babino) Simmons, Lauren Kluck, Michael Kluck, Melissa Cady, Erin Cady, Emily Grimm, Avery (Jaclyn) Grimm; great-granddaughter Violet Kizewski; sister Mary Wegener; brothers-in-law Lloyd Matheson and James Bestul; sisters-in-law Jean Peters, Elaine Pethke and Carol Matheson.
Dale was preceded in death by his first wife Arlene, daughters Sherry Ann Peters and Kara Arlene Peters in infancy; grandson David Jacob Simmons in infancy; brother William Peters; brothers-in-law Leroy Wegener, Walter Pethke, Milton Bestul and Ralph Bestul and sister-in-law Mary Lou Bestul.
Per Dale’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at the Baldwin’s Mill Cemetery, Weyauwega. Holly Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
