Justin Wesley Foster, age 40, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Justin was born in Mattoon, Illinois on March 20, 1985 to Edward Foster and Lorilyn (Richmond) Foster. He will be dearly missed by his son; Jaxson Pierce Foster; fiancé; Jill Mayer; bothers; Nathaniel and Mark (Jessica) Michelini, Brandon and Zachary Foster; sisters; Abigail and Sarah Foster; Grandparents; Brenda Kleinstiver and John Richmond. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Patricia Foster and, his aunt Marianne Foster.
Although, Justin was born in Illinois, he grew up in Waupaca, enjoying time boating and swimming on the Chain O’Lakes. Justin later moved to Las Vegas in 2011. Justin was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his son, as well as keeping up with his parents, brothers and sisters, never forgetting to tell them he loved them before saying goodbye. When he was not working he enjoyed cooking, playing video games, writing stories, volunteering his time for those in need as well as mentoring kids. His family describes him as outgoing, charismatic, loving, kind, giving and humorous. Known for his big hugs and playful personality, often saying things like “Its going to get weird,” or “Let’s make this awkward,” along with his signature wink and shoulder shimmy.
The memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 15 at 10 a.m. at Faith Community Church, N2541 County Road K in Waupaca.
