MADISON – Governor Evers signed a $2.4 million contract to improve US 10, between Portage County Line and Anderson Road, in the town of Farmington. Work is scheduled to begin on June 16, 2026.
Sommers Construction Co., Inc. is the prime contractor for the project. Work includes completing joint repairs and replacement, replacing the asphalt shoulders, replacing guardrail and new pavement marking.
During construction, US 10 will have single lane closures. Construction is scheduled for completion by early September 2026. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
