Increase approved for co-curricular wage schedule

NEW LONDON – The New London Board of Education approved a 2.63% increase for each position on the school district’s co-curricular wage schedule for the 2026-27 school year.
The approval came at the board’s July 8 meeting.
According to the Topic Summary Sheet (TSS) in the board packet, the increase would have a budget impact of approximately $7,000. The total budget for advisors and coaches is $205,000.
Also, according to the TSS, the rates of pay on the co-curricular wage schedule had not been increased for three years.
