Eva E. Lipke, age 73 passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Appleton Regional Medical Center. She was born August 12, 1952 in Berlin, WI; daughter of William and Lucille (Briggs) Baitinger. Eva met the love of her life, Leslie E. Lipke, in August 1970. They eloped just a few months later on December 13, 1970 in Menominee, MI. Both of their parents said they needed to make their marriage "official" so on January 23, 1971, they were married at Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Lind. Eva and Les owned and operated Waupaca Taxi for many years. They shared 38 years of marriage before Les passed away on December 28, 2008. Eva will be remembered for always being happy and having a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed by all of the friends she called family through the years.
A Graveside Service for Eva will be on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lind Center Cemetery. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
