Man found deceased near highway overpass

PORTAGE COUNTY — A man was pronounced deceased near the Highway 10 West Overpass, from what investigators say is a suspected suicide.
On Aug. 8 at approximately 1:17 p.m., the Portage County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center was contacted about an unresponsive male found on County Road X near the US Highway 10 West overpass. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Following the initial investigation it is suspected the male committed suicide. The name of the deceased is not being released currently. The incident remains under investigation.
