Natural resources foundation distributes over $12,000

WAUPACA – The Waupaca County Natural Resources Foundation (WCNRF) awarded over twelve thousand dollars in unrestricted grants to several Waupaca County organizations. It is a 501c3 foundation, which for the past twenty years has created many fiscal partnerships throughout Waupaca County.
The WCNRF is made up of a board of directors from all corners of the county and provides receivership for monetary grants and land donations for those groups too small or unable to afford receivership regulations. The WCNRF handles yearly auditing services as well as keeping track of account revenues and expenses for all fiscal partners.
The 2026 grant recipients are The Sturgeon Trail, Little Wolf Trails of Manawa, Friends of Waupaca Parks, Clintonville Trails, Greater Waupaca Area Parks and Trails and The Waupaca Lakemen Field Project.
