Polar Bears split matches

Golfers top Oshkosh North

The Hortonville boys’ golf team split a pair of recent Fox Valley Association golf matches.

The Polar Bears fell to Appleton North April 28 at Grand View Golf Club and defeated Oshkosh North April 25 at Westhaven Golf Club.

Appleton North 160, Hortonville 175

Rasmus Madsen’s medalist round of 36 helped lead the Lightning over the Polar Bears.

Carter Rohde 42 and Weston Burkhardt led Hortonville with a round of 42, followed by Wesley Barker (45) and Ross Reinemann 46.

Hortonville 174, Oshkosh North 188

Barker and Burkhardt turned in the low round for the Polar Bears, as they each shot a 43. Rohde and Reinemann added rounds of 44.
