WAUPACA – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will have temporary closures at the U.S. Highway 10 and Anderson Road intersection. The closure of the WIS 54 ramp from US 10 has caused an unsafe traffic pattern at Anderson Road.
The new configuration at Anderson Road will be a right turn only onto Anderson Road and US 10 at the intersection. Left-turn and U-turn movements will be restricted.
This closure is not associated with the improvement project currently scheduled for 2030 which addresses the turning movements at the intersection. A public involvement meeting was held Aug. 5 in Waupaca for the 2030 project which is still in the design stage.
When the WIS 54 ramp is reopened, Anderson Road will be returned to its normal traffic patterns.
