• September 26 – Officers responded to Arlington Place for a report of possible found drugs.
• September 26 – A man noticed damage to his vehicle in the parking lot at Sentry Headquarters. The responding officers contacted Sentry Insurance Security to review video footage.
• September 26 – A man reported that someone hacked his email account and transferred six Green Bay Packers tickets to an unknown person.
• September 26 – A counterfeit bill was turned into Portage County Bank on Vern Holmes Drive.
• September 26 – Officers responded to Brawley Street for a report of a dog bite.
• September 26 – A juvenile male and his mother got into a verbal argument on Howard Avenue. They agreed to calm down and stay away from each other for the evening.
• September 26 – A man reported that a girl unknown to him came to his front door. He stated that she asked his name and then hit him once she confirmed who he was. He reported that the girl called him a “bastard” and a “rapist.” The man stated he did not want to press charges but wanted to know who the girl was.
• September 26 – An officer was dispatched to Brick Hause on Second Street for a report of an aggressive female who had hit a bouncer.
• September 27 – A man with an arrest warrant was arrested in front of Graffitis Bar and Grill. While the male was being searched a THC product was discovered.
• September 27 – A 78-year-old woman fell and struck her head at Chase Bank on Main Street. Individuals nearby assisted with the bleeding until medical staff arrived.
• September 27 – A 55-year-old man was arrested on a warrant on Church Street.
• September 27 – A caller was upset that their daughter parked in front of neighbor’s house due to construction and the neighbors reportedly put rakes and cones in front and back of her car. The caller also stated the neighbors wrote a note telling the daughter to not park there.
• September 27 – A 74-year-old woman over indulged in alcohol while at a party and became lost. The woman went into the wrong house and then laid down in the middle of Elk Street. She was unable to walk by herself. Her friend was contacted to take care of her until she became sober.
• September 27 – A woman called to report she was upset her husband’s vehicle and boat were towed by Kent’s Towing from the area around Noodles and Company.
• September 27 – Officers conducted a bar check at the Classroom Bar on Second Street. Eleven underage individuals were found to be drinking. All underage individuals were cited in addition to the bar owner receiving a citation.
• September 28 – A man was having a “meltdown” over his love life in The Square. His girlfriend left him for a different homeless man. The man was advised to calm down, get his stuff and move along. An additional call came in for the same man three hours later which resulted in his arrest for disorderly conduct, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor bail jumping.
• September 29 – A traffic stop was conducted which resulted in the discovery of a female driver in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
• September 29 – A caller reported a female was using a fake ID in an attempt to obtain money.
• September 29 – Officers responded to a vacant home on Reserve Street that was broken into with items damaged and taken.
• September 29 – Two individuals wanted to document that their apartment was broken into on Madison Street. An officer observed that the lock on the door was loose. The individuals stated they saw a footprint in the garage.
• September 29 – An officer spoke with a caller who stated that a black male in a black polo shirt and hat came up to her in Kwik Trip on Stanley Street and asked her for 500 million dollars. The officer later found an individual who matched the description of the man.
• September 30 – An officer observed a man sleeping in the window sill of a Third Street building. The officer was aware the owners of the building did not want people sleeping on the property.
• September 30 – Officers were dispatched to Heffron Street for a warrant pick up. A 47-year-old man was taken into custody.
• September 30 – A woman reported that she witnessed unknown individuals steal a bicycle and a bike storage rack on Main Street.
• September 30 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street for a report of screaming that sounded like an argument. Both parties were separated.
• September 30 – Officers were dispatched to a threat at Taco Bell on Highway 10. The complainant reported receiving threats via Facebook from a male involved in a prior physical altercation with him at the same location. The 45-year-old male suspect was arrested.
• September 30 – A K9 free-air sniff on a vehicle led to a discovery of a large amount of cocaine.
• October 1 – Officers were dispatched to Jefferson Street to conduct a welfare check on an elderly woman who had fallen and soiled herself. The woman was transported by EMS for further medical care.
• October 1 – A caller stated her children’s father threatened to beat them with a belt.
• October 1 – An officer was dispatched to Fleet Farm for an employee theft that occurred over two days.
• October 2 – Officers responded to Save-A-Lot Foods on Church Street for a retail theft. Dispatch advised that four to five juveniles stole liquor and left in a vehicle.
• October 2 – A one-vehicle accident occurred in the area of Church Street. Dispatch stated, “Something fell off the bridge and cracked his windshield.”
• October 2 – Officers responded to The Store on West Clark Street for a death investigation. Dispatch advised that the caller stated there was a blue van in the parking lot with a deceased individual inside.
• October 3 – Officers were dispatched to Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital due to a patient being inappropriate with staff.
• October 3 – A K9 unit was requested by Wood County to track a suspect who fled on foot from a traffic stop. Upon the arrival of the K9 unit, the suspect came out of the woods and surrendered without incident.
• October 3 – A juvenile was reportedly struck by an adult female during a verbal altercation at Kwik Trip on Maria Drive. The incident was captured on surveillance footage and showed the juvenile being pushed backward after the physical contact.
