• December 25 – A man was on his way to Kwik Trip when he stated a car swerved at him. The man allegedly yelled at the vehicle. An officer noted, “The man was not very forthcoming with information and believes officers would shoot him. And that he was on bail, which he was not.” The officer advised the man that if he continued his conduct he could receive a citation.
• December 25 – A 62-year-old man was arrested in connection to a domestic abuse incident near West Oak Ridge Lane.
• December 26 – One person was arrested for bail jumping due to alcohol consumption at Blue Top on Church Street.
• December 26 – A hit and run occurred in the area of Highway 10, the suspect vehicle was located and citations were issued.
• December 26 – A man was in the Kwik Trip bathroom for over two hours. Staff requested he be moved along, but not trespassed.
• December 26 – An 18-year-old male reported finding an Apple Airtag hidden in the back of his vehicle. He was concerned someone was tracking him. Ultimately, he discovered his mother had put the Airtag in the car due to being suspicious of his activity.
• December 27 – A 26-year-old driver received a citation for driving 52-miles-per-hour in a 25-miles-per-hour zone.
• December 27 – A counterfeit bill was discovered at the Stevens Point Brewery Gift Shop.
• December 27 – A caller reported that a daughter fled from her father’s house on Torun Road after the father allegedly threatened to hit her with a belt.
• December 28 – A woman told dispatch she “was assaulted by people who do cocaine in an apartment complex.” The woman provided two different addresses to the apartment and would not answer any other questions from dispatch. She then told dispatch she would not meet with an officer or provide her location.
• December 29 – A 63-year-old man stated that his 31-year-old neighbor was intentionally plowing snow onto his property. The man confronted his neighbor about the issue, and the 31-year-old began to call the man inappropriate names.
• December 29 – An unknown male was in a bathroom stall at the R Store for about an hour. He did not respond to staff, but responded to police. However, he would not identify himself. He eventually packed up his belongings and left.
• December 29 – A woman, who stated she lives in California, who has never been to Stevens Point called to inform an officer of “multiple crimes that had been committed against her across the nation.” The officer informed the woman she would need to contact law enforcement at the location of each crime.
