• April 10 – A woman stated that a man had been “touching himself” in her house and had broken her speaker after he returned it. The man denied both claims.
• April 10 – A woman staying at the Days Inn and Suites on Division Street donated plasma the day prior. She woke up to find her arm and hand swollen. She requested to be taken to the hospital.
• April 10 – A student on a bus in the Stevens Point Area Senior High School parking lot allegedly showed a knife to another student, but was noted it was “not in a threatening way.”
• April 10 – Officers transported a 66-year-old man to the hospital for a detox.
• April 11 – A man staying at Cobblestone Hotel and Suites on Centerpoint Drive was believed to be under the influence of drugs. Officers found him in the hallway “highly paranoid.” They were able to get him back to his room where he was told to relax. The clerk informed officers he had been “fine” and “normal” the day before. Staff called officers back after they had left, stating the man was outside not and trying to get back into the lobby by ramming his body into the front door. The caller stated she had locked herself in the office out of fear and continued to watch the man on the security cameras. The officers returned and assisted the man with gathering his belongings and escorting him outside. He was arrested for disorderly conduct. On April 14, the same man was arrested at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital for battery, disorderly conduct, and a probation hold.
• April 11 – A man reported seeing a suspicious person wandering around a Second Street address. The man stated the suspicious person was wearing a mask and carrying a knife on his side.
• April 11 – A 39-year-old homeless man was arrested on Main Street for possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, resisting officers, and trespassing.
• April 11 – Officers responded to a reported home intrusion and sexual assault on Green Avenue. A juvenile suspect was located nearby and taken into custody, but was later released to his mother. Charges were requested for obstruction, criminal trespass, and third degree sexual assault.
• April 12 – Officers on patrol near West Gates Drive informed multiple males that they were not allowed to be staying in the woods and were trespassed from the area.
• April 12 – A 64-year-old woman received a citation for going 46 miles-per-hour on Clark Street, which is a 25 mile-per-hour zone. Later in the day, an 18-year-old driver on Clark Street also received a speeding citation for going 52 miles per hour in a 25 mile-per-hour zone.
• April 13 – Two 18-year-olds were observed sitting by the dam near high water, due to recent flooding. They explained they had just broken up and were talking. The officer advised them to stay away from the dam and the high flood waters.
• April 13 – Students at Pacelli Middle School reported seeing two men come near the school during recess. The men allegedly had toy orange guns and possibly shot off fireworks. The school requested extra patrol during recess hours.
• April 13 – A man working for Door Dash parked his vehicle in front of Little Caesars on Church Street while he retrieved an order. When he came back outside of the restaurant his vehicle was gone.
• April 13 – A disturbance on First Street led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man for disorderly conduct, battery, and resisting an officer with a domestic abuse enhancer.
• April 14 – A call reporting illegal dumping at Texas Park led to a suspect admitting to littering and receiving a littering ticket. While at the suspect’s residence, an additional man was arrested for a warrant.
• April 14 – A call about a suspicious male peering into windows on West River Drive led to a man’s arrest for unrelated charges.
• April 15 – A male at Pacelli High School was cited for possession of THC gummies.
• April 15 – A 31-year-old woman wasn’t feeling good after drinking and taking edibles from a local shop. She was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
• April 16 – A welfare check was conducted on an intoxicated male walking in the woods near West Cornell Avenue. He was located and provided a ride home.
• April 16 – Scooters Coffee on Highway 10 reported a 35-year-old customer had tricked an employee into giving him $10. They requested him to be trespassed from the property.
• April 16 – A man found a 9mm round in the gutter near Franklin and Forest Street. Upon inspection, the round appeared to be unfired, damaged, and old due to corrosion.
• April 16 – A 31-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested for disorderly conduct after a fight occurred at the Days Inn and Suites on Division Street. Upon arrival, one of the men had broken a fence during the altercation. The other man had open bonds, which caused more charges.
• April 17 – A noise complaint was made about banging sounds coming from a Sixth Avenue address. Officers made contact with the woman was attempting to open a can of beans with a hammer. Officers assisted her in opening the beans.
