• June 5 – Two women were involved in a verbal argument the night prior at a Johns Drive address. The woman who lived at the address woke up the next morning to find ketchup all over her vehicles. Two witnesses stated the other women put the ketchup on the vehicle. The women who put the ketchup on the car then began to call the witnesses “drug addicts.” She received a citation for disorderly conduct.
• June 5 – A man reported that a package he ordered containing a .45 handgun had not arrived, despite UPS stating it had.
• June 6 – Officers heard someone “smack” the stop sign on Third and Main Street. Officers were able to locate two men who they believed to have “smacked” the sign.
• June 6 – Three males were seen “messing around on the tracks,” but ran when they saw CN workers and law enforcement.
• June 6 – Dispatch received multiple calls about juveniles riding mini bikes driving on roads and in the park near Lindbergh Avenue and Della Street. The juveniles were warned and advised to keep the bikes within their yards.
• June 6 – A mother claimed that the child’s father allegedly had yellow, bloodshot eyes after driving their child to the park.
• June 6 – Officers were dispatched to Mead Park for a welfare check on a man who had locked himself inside the bathroom. After the man had lied about his identity, officers arrested him upon discovering he had active warrants.
• June 7 – Two women were arguing near Mid-State on Centerpoint Drive. Officers were able to calm the women down and learned they were at a bachelorette party and had had too much to drink.
• June 7 – A 24-year-old woman called dispatch after being kicked out of her place of work on Main Street. She was highly intoxicated and uncooperative. She eventually told officers she would leave, but officers later found her crying behind a dumpster. A co-worker stated he would get her home.
• June 7 – Three toddlers under the age of three were found without seatbelts in a truck on Stanley Street. One child almost fell out of the vehicle.
• June 7 – A woman bought a pool from a man, but she stated it leaked when she brought it home. The man bought it back from the woman but could not find a leak. The man messaged the woman telling her to buy it back or he would take her to civil court. An officer helped the woman return two parts of the pool she had left.
• June 7 – Officers responded to the report of a deceased 47-year-old woman. Upon investigation, officers learned there was no foul play involved and that the woman presumably passed away from a very long list of health complications that contributed to her death.
• June 8 – A woman was found sleeping and loitering while charging her phone using a outlet. She was asked to move along and not use city outlets to charge her phone.
• June 9 – Officers took a stalking complaint over the phone from a victim in North Carolina for an incident that may have occurred in Wisconsin.
• June 9 – Officers completed a welfare check for a woman yelling for help in an apartment. The woman was stuck in a bathroom but otherwise okay.
• June 9 – Officers completed a welfare check on a highly intoxicated man. He agreed to medical treatment. Officers learned the man had active warrants and advised hospital staff to alert them when he is ready for dispatch.
• June 9 – Two women on Franklin Street were arguing verbally through a vehicle window. One woman then spit on the other.
• June 10 – A 20-year-old man was cited and then trespassed from Fleet Farm for retail theft.
• June 10 – A man reported that he had taken his dogs to the dog park when another man’s dogs became aggressive towards his own dog. He asked the man to recall his dogs, to which the man noted he was slow to do so. After a brief verbal interaction, the man with the alleged aggressive dogs supposedly raised his fist as if ready to punch the man. No actual physical altercation occurred.
• June 10 – Kwik Trip staff at Church Street asked that a 60-year-old intoxicated man be escorted off the property. While doing so, the man would begin to lose balance and stand in the sprinklers. He refused to properly perform a breathalyzer test and would suck instead of blow into the device. He was advised several times to not return to the Kwik Trip on Church Street. The man returned one hour later and was arrested, and then also returned on June 11.
• June 10 – Officers found a 55-year-old man seated in his truck, which was off, at the Holiday Inn Express. The truck’s door was open and a bottle of vodka was in the center console. The man was extremely intoxicated and accepted help into the hotel, but did not want help to his room.
• June 11 – A mother requested her juvenile son to be placed on a psych hold after he allegedly punched her. The juvenile male then struck a nurse at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
• June 11 – A woman reported underwear was stolen from her clothesline on Washington Avenue.
• June 11 – A guardian reported their child got out of their car at a red light and ran away after they had been talking about the child’s behavior while driving. The child was later located at his girlfriend’s house.
