• June 18 – Officers assisted two homeless individuals who wanted to get bus tickets to their home in Arkansas.
• June 18 – Theft was reported at South Point Laundromat.
• June 18 – A 33-year-old man reported his motorcycle had been hit in a parking lot, causing damage to the bike. No cameras were able to capture the incident.
• June 18 – A woman stated after looking before turning on Division Street, a man on a bicycle made impact with her car. She asked the man if he was injured or wanted his bicycle fixed. The man stated he was fine and did not need her to fix his bike. The woman wanted to report the incident for documentation to the police.
• June 18 – An eight-year-old child was reported missing. She was located in her basement listening to music.
• June 18 – A 21-year-old woman reported her bike was stolen from Northpoint Drive. A 22-year-old man also reported his bicycle as stolen from the area of Fourth Avenue.
• June 19 – Three juveniles vandalized a vehicle on Church Street. Two juveniles were located and cited, the other was later identified and cited.
• June 19 – A bicycle stop was initiated on a 31-year-old male who had multiple warrants for his arrest. The man fled on his bike, leading to a short pursuit. The man was later located hiding in some brush after fleeing on foot. He was then arrested.
• June 19 – Several juveniles were involved in a physical altercation on East Avenue and Ellis Street.
• June 19 – While patrolling Mead Park, officers made contact with a 60-year-old man who was violating bond conditions. The man was arrested and transported to Portage County Jail.
• June 20 – A 71-year-old man said his neighbors were using witchcraft to make his nose bleed. He told officers to leave once they had arrived.
• June 20 – A woman reported two boys walked in front of her car at Ross Dress for Less on Highway 10, one boy waved at her while the other boy yelled at her.
• June 20 – A caller reported seeing a man yell at a woman on Division Street. The caller stated it appeared that the man may have had his hands on the woman’s neck or chest. Officers located the man and woman near McDonald’s on Division Street. The man and woman were hugging and very intoxicated. They stated they were heading to their hotel.
• June 21 – An 81-year-old man had money and credit cards taken by a woman he met online.
• June 21 – A caller stated a man was hitting trees with a stick at Kash Park. The man then went into the river and began to bathe while wearing a red robe.
• June 21 – Multiple benches were vandalized at Zenoff Park.
• June 22 – An anonymous caller reported kids were driving battery operated trucks into oncoming traffic on purpose and calling other kids mean names at Iverson Park. Officers made contact with the kids who stated the caller was speeding through the parking lot and almost struck a child. The kids stated only then did they follow the vehicle with their battery operated cars.
• June 23 – Officers responded to a welfare check after a caller reported hearing what they believed to be a gunshot and a man making threatening comments. Due to concerns of the known male having access to firearms and recent struggles with his employer, officers noted they took a cautious approach and temporarily detained the man. It was determined the man lit a firework in the street, rather than a gunshot.
• June 23 – Officers assisted the Plover Police Department in locating a suspect in a retail theft from Best Buy.
• June 24 – An officer spoke with a 59-year-old man regarding his proximity to schools while being a sex offender. The officer also advised him to not make threats against law enforcement.
• June 24 – A man reported losing a substantial amount of money from his CashApp.
• June 24 – A 59-year-old woman stated her 48-year-old sister began hitting her with an open fist while driving after being upset over not picking up food.
• June 24 – Officers responded to a welfare check on a man at the Days Inn and Suites. Hotel staff informed the officers that the man had left that morning. After contacting the probation office, officers were able to ping the man’s location where they located him in the woods. He was intoxicated, which went against his probation leading to his arrest.
• June 25 – A man called dispatch and stated he had been locked out of his storage unit by his landlord. The man advised officers he was going to begin drilling out all the locks, but was advised against it due to the case being a civil matter.
