Truckers lose to Chiefs

The Clintonville Truckers lost in four sets to the Shiocton Chiefs on Thursday, Oct. 3, falling to 4-18 on the season.

The Chiefs jumped to an early lead in the opening set to make it 11-6. Another run by the Chiefs extended the lead to 11-6, and they went to close the opening set 25-12.

In the second set, the Clintonville Truckers got the early momentum, going up 4-0 and extending it to 8-3. The Chiefs would take a 20-18 lead later in the match, but the Truckers tied it up at 20-20 and took the lead as they won the set 25-22.

Both teams went back-and-forth early in the third set as it was 10-10 before the Chiefs took the lead and won the set by a score of 25-19.

In the fourth set, the Chiefs gained an early 12-2 lead and kept their foot on the gas as they went up 12-2. The Chiefs eventually had an 18-6 lead.  The Chiefs eventually put the set and match away 25-12.
