Two new hires at NLPD

NEW LONDON – New London Police Chief Josh Wilson announced two recent new hires at the New London Police Department.
Griffin Flath joined the department in late October. NLPD will be his first job in law enforcement.
Chief Wilson reports Flath’s hometown is Rapid River, located in Upper Michigan.
He attended college at St. Norbert’s and will start the police academy in January.
Nick Starcheske, a senior at New London High School, joined the team at NLPD through the CESA 6 Youth Apprentice Program.
“Nick has been involved in our Public Safety Cadet Program since age 14,” reported Chief Wilson.
“After high school, he plans on attending college for a degree in criminal justice.”
