Wrong-way drunk driver on 10, again

WEYAUWEGA – On Nov. 7, around 9:20 a.m, deputies were alerted to a driver going the wrong way on U.S. Highway 10 near Little River Road. Officers tried to get the driver to pull over but the driver continued into downtown Weyauwega until the person driving the vehicle finally stopped.
The drive was charged with operating while intoxicated first offense, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, open intoxicants in motor vehicle, and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. Weyauwega Police officers assisted Waupaca County deputies. The identity of the driver was not released.
