Breitbach’s passing propels SPASH

SPASH Panthers move to 5-2 on the season with a home victory over the Eau Claire North Huskies.

A 17-yard touchdown run by Tucker Phillips gave the Panthers an early 7-0 lead.

SPASH would go up 14-0 in the second quarter after a two-yard touchdown run on a Trent Breitbach quarterback keeper.

The Huskies cut the deficit in half with a one-yard touchdown run that made the score 14-7.

The Panthers responded with an 18-yard touchdown run by Phillips to make it a 21-7 game.

Breitbach delivered a seven-yard touchdown pass before the end of the first half to Isaac Yang to go up 28-7.

In the third quarter, Yang took a reverse handoff for a 19-yard touchdown run to make the score 34-7.

The Huskies closed the gap on the scoreboard with two touchdowns to make the deficit 34-21.

Before a screen pass from Breitbach to Calvin Roth went 55 yards to the end zone for a touchdown, and a quarterback keeper for a successful two-point conversion by Breitbach made the score 42-21.

A 30-yard touchdown run by Phillips capped off the scoring, giving him his third touchdown run of the game.

Breitbach finished with 375 yards and three touchdowns on the night.
