Criminal sentencing

Recent sentencing, convictions and dismissals from Waupaca County Circuit Court.

• Judge Troy Nielsen sentenced Sholawna M. Gunter, 40, Waupaca, to two years in prison and two years of extended supervision after revoking her probation.

In April 2019, Gunter was convicted of identity theft, felony bail jumping and operating after revocation.

Waupaca County revoked her probation folloowing her multiple arrests on drug-related charges in Waushara County.

• Judge Raymond Huber sentenced Joey M. Passarella, 37, Stevens Point, to 140 days in jail or time served since October 2019 while in custody on a $5,000 cash bond.

Passarella was convicted of obstructing an officer.

Charges of battery and disorderly conduct as acts of domestic abuse and operating a firearm while intoxicated were dismissed but read into the court record for sentencing purposes.

Huber also ordered Passarella to pay $3,582 in restitution, fines and court costs.

• Huber dismissed charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia against Lyle T. Marier, 42, Nichols, on a motion by the prosecutor.

• Nielsen placed Jennifer M. Bostone, 30, Waupaca, on five years of probation with one year in jail.

Bostone was convicted of possession of methamphetamine, burglary and felony bail jumping.

Conditions of her probation include that she have no contact with known drug users or drug dealers, provide weekly documentation that she is seeking employment and maintain absolute sobriety.

If her probation is revoked, Bostone will receive credit for the 257 days she spent in jail on a cash bond.

• Huber placed Michael D. Dombrowski, 50, Amherst Junction, on two years of probation.

Dombrowski was convicted of felon in possession of a firearm and hunting without a license.

Charges of operating a firearm while intoxicated, resisting a game warden and illegal shining of deer were dismissed but read into the record.

Conditions of Dombrowski’s probation include 60 days in jail with release privileges and $2,068 in fines and court costs.

• Judge Vicki Clussman placed Demerray J. Gilliam, 35, Wild Rose, on two years of probation.

Gilliam was convicted of battery with a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and criminal damage to property.

A charge of disorderly conduct with a weapon was dismissed but read into the record.

Conditions of Gilliam’s probation include that he cannot possess any dangerous weapons and he must pay $1,339 in fines and court costs.

• Huber placed Zachary L. Willis, 26, Black Creek on three years of probation and assessed him $528 in fines and court costs.

Willis was convicted of forgery uttering.
